Music Explorers

Music Explorers is a programme of instrumental learning through whole class ensemble teaching which takes place during the school day.  It is sometimes know as First Access or Whole Class Ensemble Training; many years ago it was called Wider Opportunities.

Schools can select from strings, brass, clarinet, jsax, samba, recorder, djembe drumming, ukulele, and fife and choose a 10 week or 30 week programme, or have both programmes running at the same time, as there are no restrictions on running just one. A ten week programme starts in September, January and April.
