The Little Stoke Development Centre is one of our two development centres where we meet to play music on Saturday mornings. It provides the ideal way to begin ensemble music making with other players of a similar age and standard. Pupils as young as four can access our bands and ensembles programme and there are regular concerts for pupils to showcase the music they’ve learned throughout the term.

Along with the Little Stoke Development Centre we also meet at Warmley Music Centre on Saturday mornings to play ensemble music with other players of a similar age and level. There are also regular concerts for pupils to showcase the music they have learned throughout the term.

South Glos Music @ Senior Centre

Location: Little Stoke Primary School, Little Stoke Primary School, Little Stoke Lane, Little Stoke, BS34 6HY

Monday night is music night for many of South Gloucestershire’s most accomplished young musicians. The role of the Senior Music Centre is to take players to an advanced level with their music making by rehearsing, performing and expanding their musical experiences with expert guidance from professional musicians and educators. 

The Senior Music Centre comprises a full orchestra, wind orchestra and chamber string orchestra as well as South Gloucestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra and there are also additional opportunities for additional chamber groups and solo features. 

The Wind Orchestra and Jazz Orchestra have both appeared at the National Festival of Music for Youth giving a stunning performances in Symphony Hall and the Town Hall Birmingham, and all members of Senior Centre have performed at the MfY Proms in the Royal Albert Hall.

We run our ensembles and bands at our two music development centres and one senior music centre. The membership prices for 2022-2023 are for 10 weeks per term (Autumn, Spring and Summer)
